The smilescool concept is currently being rolled out to forward thinking, innovative dental practies accross the UK. The smilescool delivery concept, aimed at 0 - 11 year olds, is accredited by like minded organisations such as the British Dental Health Foundation, Aquafresh, Dpas and Professor Chappel at the Birmingham Dental School.

Smilescool members learn how to care for their teeth and understand the impact of diet and nutrition on tooth decay and gum disease. Clinical studies indicate adopting a preventive approach to dentistry results in less painful, expensive treatments later in life and all fear of the dentist being removed - it can even become fun!

Smilescool comes at a time when delivery of NHS dental services for children will become increasingly challenged and under scrutiny. It also compliments perfectly the emphasis in the media on diet, health and the future well-being of our youngsters; it is proven that nutrition has a direct impact on a child's dental health.

As the smilescool roll-out gathers momentum and the number of young members continues to grow, we are looking for partner orgainisations that share our goal to promote and support ways to keep children healthy and active.
